Attorney José García was born in Zamora, Michoacán, Mexico. He immigrated to the United States when he was three years old. José’s desire to practice immigration developed though his and his family’s experience as immigrants.
José holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and Government from Eastern Washington University. José earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and is authorized to practice law in the state of Washington. He is also a member of the Chelan/Douglas County Bar Association, GLBT Bar Association of Washington, Latina/O Bar Association of Washington, and the Washington Young Lawyers Committee.
José practices in the areas of criminal, family, civil, immigration, and personal injury. José has worked on immigration cases ranging from: Violence Against Women Act petitions, U-Visa, Family Based Petitions, Naturalization, and Green Card Renewals.
